——專訪江西師范大學美術學院院長萬國華先生
Any regional culture is in the process of assimilation and alienation, absorb its essence and give up its dregs, gather all advantages. Especially in the information explosion today, Chinese artists are exploring how to decide on what path to follow painting, how to let the outside world make a glimpse of Chinese culture’s broad and profound and keep pace with the times. Wan Guohua is one of the best. Wan Guohua’s first cross-border of “Textiles” on 1986 painting was gave as a national present to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher by Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was not satisfied with this, after then he created "porcelain painting” of non born character and color Peking Opera character, only to explore the modern Chinese painting and shape special orient beauty.
任何地域文化無一不是在進行著同化與異化的過程，取其精華去其糟粕，采眾家之長成一家之言。尤其是在信息大爆炸的當下，國畫家們正在努力探尋水墨畫何去何從，如何能讓外界在方寸間一窺中國文化的博大精深和與時俱進。萬國華便是其中的的一位佼佼者。萬國華于1986年跨界首作漆畫《紡線線》，被外交部禮賓司作為國禮贈送給英國前首相撒切爾夫人。他并沒有滿足于此，后獨創沒骨青花人物和重彩京劇人物瓷板畫,只為探尋現代水墨，塑造別樣的東方美。
