郭廣昌，現任復星集團董事長，同時他還是第十一屆全國人大代表、第十屆全國工商聯常委、全國青聯常委。郭廣昌先生祖籍浙江省東陽市，1989年畢業于復旦大學哲學系，后獲復旦大學工商管理碩士學位。自1994年至今，郭廣昌一直擔任復星集團董事長。由于復星集團在保險業等多領域的投資經驗，紐約時報將其比作迷你版的伯克希爾·哈撒韋公司，而英國金融時報更將郭廣昌先生稱作“中國自己的巴菲特”。
或許如果不是小平南巡，郭廣昌不會想到去做商業，更不可能成為中國最知名的企業家之一。宿命論者會認為他有天生的好運。他總能把握時機，從開始進入醫藥、房地產開發，到后來進入鋼鐵、礦業、零售、服務業及戰略投資業務，再到主打中國民營企業中的第一投資品牌，這一過程都伴隨著國家與社會對民營企業準入權和寬容度的提高，以及中國經濟結構不斷升級帶來的機遇。
